This collaboration affirms our desire to protect users who transact on our network. People will also understand the importance of this decision when we outline the joint initiatives later on.
Before outlining the collaborative projects, Tectum and ATOR will be embarking on, we must share some insights about our new partner.
What is ATOR Protocol
ATOR is an ecosystem comprising a network, protocol, and hardware. The network is completely decentralized and has no central authority that controls traffic. Instead, it functions by leveraging the reward protocol and the distribution of hardware. Community members who own or operate these devices will manage nodes that oversee the DePin network.
They will mine ATOR in real-time while contributing their bandwidth to the blockchain network. It works similarly to how Bitcoin miners validate transactions and get rewards. Unlike the BTC network, ATOR does not consume a significant amount of energy.
Operators who have the device do not need any special or complex setup to begin contributing bandwidth. All they need to do is plug in the hardware to a power source and connect it to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Once set up, the relay will rute their personal browsing through the ATOR network, and these persons will begin earning ATOR tokens without breaking a sweat.
What to Expect From the Tectum and ATOR Protocol Partnership
Tectum and ATOR are blockchain companies with one thing in common – user protection. We both want to create avenues where individuals have complete ownership and ownership of their digital assets.
Following the Tectum and ATOR Protocol partnership, ATOR will become Tectum node holders. This means that they will begin approving transactions taking place on the T12 protocol. In addition to becoming node holders, Tectum will be running our privacy dApps via the DePin network. This includes software programs like SoftNote Bills.
Before deciding to collaborate with this project, the team studied the DePin network thoroughly. We only decided to forge ahead with ATOR after confirming that they are equally serious about privacy. Therefore, the details of users will remain anonymous as the node approves them.
As part of the onboarding process, Tectum is also adding a module about the ATOR Protocol to TIM. Soon enough, users will be able to learn about the project by asking our Telegram bot simple questions.

ATOR is launching its Relay NFT month by 8:00 PM UTC on the 29th of December 2023. This non-fungible token offers a path into the Ecosystem. Priced at 0.1 ETH, anyone who mints it will get 1 unit of the ATOR Relay Hardware. As part of our commitment to this project, Tectum has already minted 4 units of the ATOR Relay NFTs.
