How to Invest T12 Token in the Upcoming January Stake

Welcome to the first version of T12 Tectum TET Token mainnet stake. This is the first stage of the Tectum blockchain becoming completely public and positioning itself as an equivalent to Solana, Avalanche, Polkadot, Ethereum, and other layer 1 ecosystems. The staking will go live on the 1st of January 2024 at 5 pm UTC.

How To Stake Tectum (TET)

Categories of Investment in the T12 Token Stake

Investors will have three options: when participating in this exercise, they include the following:

  • Full node validator
  • Community node validator
  • Delegator.

To become a full validator, you will need to have 20,000 TET tokens. Users with 5,000 TET Tokens can become a community node validator. Meanwhile, anyone with 100 TET Tokens can become a delegator.

Full validator pools will go live immediately after staking and start earning rewards right away. On the other hand, community node validators will require delegators to bring the pool level up to 20,000 tokens to enable it will go live. Delegators will start earning staking rewards right away if they stake towards an already live node. However, if they stake towards a non-live community node, they will start earning rewards when it goes live.

Please see below the instructions on how to start your staking journey on the world’s fastest blockchain.”

Obtain T12 TET

The first stage of staking TET is to obtain TET. If you do not have TET, you can buy it from the following exchanges: MEXC, BitmartBitget, Uniswap, and Smardex.

You then need to make sure your TET is in your softnote.com wallet. To move your TET from your exchange wallet to your softnote.com wallet, just go to softnote.com, obtain your wallet address, and send your tokens to that address.

You then need to make sure your TET is in T12 format and not ERC20 or BEP20 format. If your TET is in BEP20 or ERC20 format you will need to migrate it to T12.

  1. Send your ERC20 or BEP20 $TET to the corresponding address within your SoftNote Crypto wallet.
  2. From the wallet list, click on the wallet you sent your ERC20 or BEP20
  3. Click the “Migrate” button—a smaller window will pop up
  4. Enter the amount of $TET you wish to migrate back to T12 $TET and press migrate. *Please ensure you have enough ETH or BNB for gas to cover migration costs.
  5. Once the migration is complete, your $TET will appear in your T12 $TET address”

Navigate to the T12 Token Stake Page

In your softnote.com wallet, you will see a ‘Staking’ tab right at the top of the frame. Click on that tab and open the staking interface. You will be presented with terms and conditions. Read them and if you agree with them, press ‘OK’.

You will then be faced with all the ‘Open’ and ‘In Operation’ staking pools. The open pools are those that have reached the minimum threshold of 20,000 TET and are already earning rewards. The ‘In Operation’ pools are those that still require delegators to join the pool in order to meet the minimum threshold.

You will also see the amount of TET staked for each pool, the percentage being charged by the owner (this is a commission taken from your rewards), the length of the pool, and the days remaining for inactive pools to get to their required 20,000 tokens.”

Delegator Staking

“If you have over 100 tokens but less than 5,000, your best option is to stake as a delegator. This means you will be contributing towards another node’s pool.

Choose the pool that has the best specifics for you. You can find more details about the pool by clicking on the ‘Details’ tab attached to each pool.

Once you have decided on the pool you wish to stake towards, click Stake. Please remember, once you have staked, you will not be able to unstake until the duration of that pool has been completed.

You will then be given the option to choose how many tokens you want to stake. Set the amount and click Stake.

Once you have done that, you have officially staked on the Tectum T12 mainnet staking system. You will receive your rewards every 30 days, and they can be compounded and added to your stake amount.”

Community Node Validator

“If you have over 5,000 T12 tokens to stake but not 20,000 tokens, your best option is to stake as a community node validator.

To do this, click on the blue ‘+ Create Pool’ button in the top left corner of the staking interface. For the first month, Tectum will be supplying the hardware for your node to run. After that, you will be sent information as to how you can set up your node on your home computer or server.

Then click on ‘Community Pool’. Here you will have a few options to decide:

Pool Name: Choose any name for your pool. You can even use ‘Blank’ here if you like.

Validator Contribution: Here is where you choose how many tokens you will be contributing to the pool. Remember, you will need to choose a minimum of 5,000.

Validator Fee: This is where you set the reward fee that you will be charging those who contribute towards your node. Remember that the higher you set this, the less likely you are to get as many delegators. And the lower you set it, the less you will be earning from their rewards.

Lifespan: Then choose the lifespan of your pool. Remember, you will not be able to unstake in this period.

Once you are happy with your selection, press Next. And you will be faced with a summary. If you are happy with the overview, select ‘Create Pool’.

You will then have to set up your pool for the T12 Token Stake. You will have 7 days to get the pool to 20,000 tokens for it to go live. If you don’t reach the 20,000 minimum threshold in those 7 days, the tokens will be returned to the intended delegators and you will need to start a new pool.

Full Node Validator T12 Token Stake

If you have over 20,000 tokens, your best option is to stake as a full node validator. This means your pool will go live straight away and start earning rewards.

To do this, click on the blue ‘+ Create Pool’ button in the top left-hand corner of the staking interface. You will then have to decide if you want to have a pool to yourself, or create a ‘Community Pool’. If you create a community pool, other delegators can contribute towards your pool up to a maximum threshold of 100,000 tokens, and you will be able to earn their rewards.

If you want to have your own pool without delegators, click “One Man Pool”. Should you wish to have a community pool, click ‘Community Pool’.

For the first month, Tectum will be supplying the hardware for your node to run. After that, you will be sent information as to how you can set up your node on your home computer or server.

With both options, you will have a few options to decide:

Pool Name: Choose any name for your pool. You can even use ‘Blank’ here if you like.

Validator Contribution: Here is where you choose how many tokens you will be contributing to the pool. Remember, you will need to choose a minimum of 20,000.

Once you are happy with your selection, press Next and proceed to the summary page. If satisfied with the overview, select ‘Create Pool’.

You will then have to set up your pool. Your rewards will be attributed at the end of each 30 days, and you can restake these for compounded interest.

Extended Locked Stake Bonuses

Meanwhile, Tectum is granting bonuses to individuals who lock their tokens and do not withdraw them for an extended period during this staking exercise. Individuals who lock up their funds for at least specific days will get an extra percentage on the initial 20% APY.

For example, users who lock their tokens for 90 days will get an additional 10% of the initial 20% profits. This means that they will receive an interest of 22% instead of 20%. These benefits apply to other categories in the community pool.

Here is a breakdown of the locking bonuses:

  • 90 Days – 22%
  • 120 days – 23%
  • 150 days – 24%
  • 180 days – 25%
